Charles de Dampierre is a graduate of the Grande École of HEC Paris and holds a master's degree in cognitive sciences from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris.

 

After experiences at Google, in diverse startups and as a Research Engineer at the Medialab of SciencePo, he started a PhD in Computational Social Science at ENS and founded Bunka as an output of his researches.

Some of his academic work include working on hate speech on internet for the French Human Rights Council,  studying cultural trends on Wikipedia and creating algorithms to understand large-scale textual data.
